This LG 32 inch UltraGear is a budget 1440p curved gaming monitor that can land anywhere from about $77 to $189 in Walmart stores, with some checks showing $179 or $130 depending on location. The VA panel gives strong blacks and a solid fit for immersive content or productivity, and the 32 inch size is described as workable for 1440p. The main drawback is VA black smearing, especially on dark content, and the large screen is not ideal for ultra competitive gaming. It is a decent value when the lower in store price appears.
people shopping at Walmart who can physically check in-store pricing because the deal seems to vary by location and some shoppers reported it ringing up at $179 or even $77 in-store only.
buyers who want a secondary monitor for a bedroom or family room because one commenter said it may be fine for that kind of use if you're not expecting top-tier gaming performance.
people using it for immersive content and productivity rather than ultra-competitive gaming because one commenter said it's ideal for immersive content/productivity and only noticed some black smearing on dark pages.
shoppers who are okay with YMMV clearance-style finds because commenters said the price can drop during Walmart clearout/renovation events (e.g., seeing multiple units bought at $89 each).
people who need consistent pricing across stores because multiple commenters reported large Walmart-to-Walmart price variation (e.g., $189 at some locations vs lower elsewhere), and one said their local stores "skimp on clearance merch."
buyers who want to rely on the specific receipt/price story because some commenters called the success claims sketchy (e.g., questioning sequential serial numbers, suggesting receipts can be faked, or noting it wasn't on sale for them and more units were scheduled for delivery).
competitive gamers who care about motion clarity because commenters warned that VA panels can have black smearing and terrible gaming response times/ghosting and that you may lose the benefit of VA blacks when trying to reduce smearing.
buyers expecting a great overall gaming monitor at 32" for 1440p because one commenter said it's not a great overall gaming monitor due to the panel type and the 32" size making 1440p look less sharp (and that pixels will be noticeable).
The monitor may be a poor fit for competitive gaming because 1440p on a 32-inch screen can make pixels more noticeable and VA response can cause ghosting or motion blur.
The monitor has been found at $77, $89, $130, $179, and $189 depending on store and timing. It is an in-store-only YMMV clearance-style deal, so the price can vary a lot by location.
Yes, it uses a VA panel. That means deeper blacks and potentially less backlight bleed, but it can also show black smearing on dark scenes or dark websites with white text.
It can be fine for budget gaming and immersive use, but the VA panel can show ghosting and motion blur, especially in dark content. It is better suited to casual gaming, productivity, or a secondary screen than ultra-competitive play.
Inventory checks may show no useful information, and some stores can have stock while still listing the monitor at regular price. The deal appears highly store-specific, so an in-person check is more reliable than online inventory tools.
I am sorry, but I am calling shenanigans on this one. I was a walmart employee for almost 5 years, and I can tell you flat out that the chances of a store having two of anything in stock with sequential serial numbers is astronomical.
Its not fake, if you're lucky you'll get the price at Walmart doing clearout or renovation like the one in my area. I actually saw a dude came in and pack like 7 of those LG 32 inch monitor. I went close to the cashier while he was checking out, he paid $89 each. I ran back to the electronics and behold they still had like 2 of those left, plus bunch of msi optiplex gaming 32 inch monitors for like $90 each
This guy, one of the vendors, has a large number of unsold monitors. This is a good marketing move. Yesterday the price was 189, and today it's 130. The electronic receipt can be easily faked in Chrome or other browser using the Inspect tool (right-click mouse). Learn from him how to sell unsaleable goods at Walmart.)))

The MSI monitors are $165 each here. I find it really annoying there are such huge variations in prices for the same items at different Walmarts
Don't waste your time. Sure it's cheap but it's…cheap. 1440p at 32" is close to 1080p at 27", which is to say you're going to see the pixels. Also VA has terrible response times generally for gaming so it comes with ghosting and motion blur.If you need a secondary screen or something to put in a bedroom or family room then sure
Cheap and Fake deal to get attention , fake generated receipt
Good deal if money is tight, but if you have the means, this isn't a great overall gaming monitor for the reasons stated above regarding the panel type and the 32" size for 1440p
Was at Walmart the other day so took a look, not on sale. What's more, an associate said more are scheduled for delivery soon (only display unit was left) which tells me it's not being cleared out, because why would they order more just to clear them out. (I suppose a faulty revision of monitor might be getting cleared out, but given that no one else has reported success this post is sketchy)

Misinformation from multiple people. No 32" actually does work fine for 1440p. I am using a very similar LG 31.5" QHD monitor right now (32GS60) and while yes its not as sharp as my 4K Samsung at 27" that has a whopping 163 ppi compared to 1440p at 27"s measly 108.
The Pixel density is NOT like 1080p at 27" (81 ppi) but 1080p at 24" (92 ppi). This stuff is a Google search away, stop spreading misinformation even if you don't believe in op's deal...
If you can get it this is a pretty solid monitor but yes it has some noticeable black smearing on dark websites with white on black text. Other than that I don't notice it and it's ideal for immersive content/productivity not ultra competitive gaming.
Edit: Would 4K at that size be better? Absolutely, but this is also a (YMMV) $80 monitor, no one has the right to complain about specs at that price.
