These work ok. You will absolutely hate that you have to point it directly at your TV unlike the original remote which was Bluetooth.

Nice price, but after using rf/Bluetooth remotes for years, I can never go back to ir remotes.

I was going to post the same thing they do. Someone else posted first they do.
I purchased two of the regular remotes Roku sticks.
One was fine.
The other one burned through batteries every 4 or 5 days. I thought it was the wife's TV with an Ultra Roku, the phone which is 2.4 gigahertz it's beside it. Connected to my Roku TV same thing upstairs.
The microphone wouldn't work with YouTube TV.

Purchased the rechargeable remote.

You want the Roku Pro 2, not 1. The 1 has a lower battery capacity, and you'll be recharging that a lot more

The Pro 2 is USB C rechargeable. Last a long time between recharging.

That thing is great.
Lighting up when you touch it.

Just turn off the option that the mic is on, all the time, like on an Alexa device.
I don't know how much battery it uses, but I can't see a reason for that.

Just push the mic button.
As I poorly recall
It has the find feature too. If you have an Ultra, with the find button.

If you only knew how much data Roku collects about you, in your own house, and sells to data brokers, you'd never use a Roku again. I hope ya'll are at least running a pi-hole on your network to block it phoning home with its telemetry. and with your personal data. Otherwise you are totally naked.

If only you could re-program (or completely deactivate at least) the pre-programmed bottom stuff. I don't even have those apps installed, but accidentally pressing one of them will close out of whatever you're doing and open up the app store which is annoying

No, the Roku TV remotes these ones are designed for are exclusively IR. I have a TCL from ~3 years ago and it doesn't work with RF. The original remote is IR.
I don't know if recent Roku TVs will support both, but most of them in the past 10 or so years are IR only.
