Years ago these appeared to be relabeled Eneloops or at very least higher quality cells made in Japan. They are now made in China and are not the quality they used to be. Just something to keep in mind when reading reviews. I purchased Amazon rechargeable batteries years ago and they were great, the newer ones I've tried are nowhere near as good. This is still a decent price for rechargeable batteries, but they aren't what they used to be.

Worst batteries, you will keep recharging them every month where a alkaline battery would have lasted a few years
Very device dependent?

Not a deal. I paid less for them not on "sale" a few weeks ago.

I prefer my Tenergy batteries, have had more mixed results with AmazonBasics the last couple of years and tired of them crushing all their competition.

EBL's NiMH batteries pretty much all now have fraudulent ratings. You'll be lucky if they're 75% of what they claim. Amazon is one of the few cheap brands that doesn't seriously overrate their batteries. Actually, some of theirs considerably outperform their rating.

Thanks, think that is usually the case with some rechargeables nowadays- when 20 years ago rechargeables worked fine.

Didn't know that. I have from over the years a bunch of Amazon and a bunch of EBLs. None of either brand have died. It feels like with same device, the EBLs last longer but I've never actually timed. It also could be their quality has dropped.

Never had issues with the Amazon brand going on several years of using their rechargeable batteries.

Anyone tried these vs the IKEA Ladda batteries? Anything you noticed?
I have a bunch of the IKEA ones but for the right price don't mind mixing and matching brands

Good price but 850 mah is way too low and will be replacing them often.
