I understand your issue but maybe don't plug in a laptop that needs a high wattage charger into a 65 watt charger. Or even like an iPhone 17 takes like 30 watts while an android ca take up to like 100 watts. It's not a defect it's just the stuff you're plugging in to it.

I have had zero issues with plugging multiple objects into my UGREEN Multi-port chargers.

Do not buy UGREEN Chargers. They are TRASH.I have several UGREEN multi-port chargers, but I can't use them because of the following issue, so I've just shoved them somewhere. I even have several of the same model.UGREEN Multi-Port Charger Issue: Port Loses Power When All Ports Are UsedI've noticed the following problem with UGREEN multi-port chargers:1. When all ports are in use, one specific port completely stops supplying power.2. This happens even when total power draw is within the charger's rated capacity.3. The affected port consistently fails, while other ports continue to work normally.4. Reconnecting devices sometimes temporarily restores power, but the issue reoccurs.5. This is not a brief PD negotiation reset; the port stays dead until intervention. It appears to be a problem with power distribution or a potential hardware issue, rather than a typical overload or throttling scenario.I contacted UGREEN about this issue, but they claimed it is not a defect.

if both 65W are connected, what is the power draw from each?

using the left ports, based on the listing, it shows one will have 45 and the other will be 20

Well yea.... because you're trying to do too much all at once. Try using multiple chargers.

Personally, I've had similar issues with Baseus multi-port chargers with dead ports. Even with better brands like anker, the negotiation reset for all connected devices is kind of a pain to deal with whenever you connect or disconnect devices. You never quite know much power will be provided when you connect multiple devices.

This has led me to use more single port chargers, especially with higher powered devices. So unless your application is for travel and need the flexibility or fixed connections that don't get unplugged often, I tend to avoid multi-port chargers in general.

This is reasonable. I've had issues with all of the major brands, and I try to avoid all of the minor (random Englishish-sounding) brands, although even the no-name Chinese stuff has worked pretty well for me over the years.

Apple is very good, but usually far from compact. Samsung is similarly supposed to be good.

Baseus, UGreen, Anker, Aukey, Belkin, and Otterbox all seem pretty dependable, but they all have some dogs in their product lineups, too.

Other brands like Lenovo have some good products, but they seem to let anyone slap their name onto random products, so YMMV.

Yup, there are some devices that really don't like the power drop out during negotiation. My ROG ally is one of them since it has different power profiles based on power state. 50/50 shot when the power drops out that the correct power profiles will go back into effect without issue. I use single port chargers all the way with it now.

I bought two of these are full price for my daily carry bags. 1 for work, 1 for my personal bag. They are built like a tank, it doesn't feel like there is any extra space inside the case at all. They are rock solid. Charging has worked great, they are able to charge my Macbook Air and iPhone or iPad at the same time. I know someone was complaining about UGreen, but look at their use case. This is still a mobile charger, not a full on power supply. For what it is though, its great. Check reviews and tests on youtube and you'll see that its very good.
