Two of the larger models are also on sale as a lightning deal
600VA/360W, 8 Outlets $45.45
800VA/450W, 12 Outlets $55.16

One comment says the 800VA model uses a 12V 9Ah SLA battery and those are only ~$25 to replace. The 800VA model would be my pick for this reason.

How does this one work if I connect it with just my modem and desktop. How long will it take to drain it out before I am completely down?

Depends on how much power your desktop and modem pull. Don't forget your monitor. For the 600VA, it's 2min at 360W load. You'll have enough time to save and shutdown. Also, if you have a dedicated GPU, a desktop will commonly pull more power than 360w if you're gaming or doing something intensive. Common desktop PSUs handle up to at least 500w unless you've a got smaller office style build.

It looks like the lower end ones don't have a USB port to communicate with the computer. Need this feature for my NAS to shutdown automatically. Good price but have to pass this time.
