One comment says the 800VA model uses a 12V 9Ah SLA battery and those are only ~$25 to replace. The 800VA model would be my pick for this reason.
Are the battery replaceable?

Rufus shows several batteries sold by Amazon can be used for replacing the battery when it wears out.

Unlike some similar larger models, this one doesn't have a door to replace the battery as isn't designed with a user replaceable battery.

All these old-style UPS's use some sort of standard size 12V lead-acid battery. You can just unscrew the back to figure out the size then purchase the correct replacement battery.
I've never seen an affordable UPS that didn't have some sort of standardized SLA battery that was easily replaceable.
