Bought the 512GB version from Costco over Christmas for $999, but seems like this is a better deal. $100 more for nano-glass, more storage and (reportedly) more ram.

Yeah it depends on what one would use it for. It's a personal preference thing, but from a value standpoint, it's great that you can get this cheaper than the standard glass.
