I like the knife, but for me, it won't ever be promoted to anything beyond a backup. If you like an easy open knife, this is your go-to. It doesn't take much for the knife to open and the blade isn't retractable. Me personally, I don't think accidents are too easy. If it's in your pocket the way the clip is designed, when closed the blade will be facing upward. When you reach into your pocket, that blade is the first thing you'll find.

I don't get this comment. If the blade is closed, isn't it completely enclosed by the case? How could the blade come into contact with my hand at this point? Or do you just mean you have to flip it around and that's annoying for one-handed operation?

Also no rubber/grippy material for the handle. It could slip out of your hand while using and find your way into another body part.

But I think we're just nitpicking at this point lol

There's no case. It has a clip on the back side of the image. So if it's just in your pocket and upped to your pants, the knife will open pointing up (because of how easy it opens and the orientation of the knife's clip). I'm not looking for bells and whistles on my knife, if there was a locking mechanism on this knife to keep it from opening on its own, it would be an A+ knife. That said, since it opens so easy and points directly toward your hand when clipped to your pocket, it doesn't strike me as safe. I handle knives all the time and just anticipate this hiccup. I hope this helps.

Damn it. It's sold out. I wasted my time reading and trying to understand the comments above...

One person's comment can simply be summarized as: "easily opens and can open in your pants and cut you" That's false. I own this and it requires two hands to open. Reading the reviews also says the same thing.
