Here are the ingredients:
Ethanolamine, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, PPG-26, Sodium Citrate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Water, Alcohol Denat., Dipropylene Glycol Butyl Ether, C10-16 Alkyldimethylamine Oxide, Hexyl Ethoxylate.
Unfortunately for me, I'm allergic.

Yeah, it's getting a bit like "free and clear of everything except the extra stuff we add to it". Let's call it "free-n-clear washing". Bought some non-Dawn brand "free and clear" dishwashing detergent the other week and it stank of some flowery scent. Still kicking myself that I didn't look more closely at the label.

Agreed, the scent is noticeable. I don't know what the company was thinking.

Do you think if I bought the bottle, I could just refill it by making my own "powerwash" from diluted dawn?

Nope, but you can make something almost as good.

Pretty sure it means it rinses free and clear. I say that because the Gain scented one doesn't. The smell lingers on my dishes after rinsing with water. Lingering scent is good for clothes but horrible for dishes you use to eat food off of. These scents are subtle while washing but are gone after rinsing.

They're referring to the lack of dyes. Hence the "clear" part. As for the scent, it's light. But yes. I wish they have a scent-free version.
