I bought a refurb Acer Nitro 60 from them in mid-December. They took more than a week to ship it via Fedex Ground. The box arrived beaten up and inside was barely any packing supplies. The CPU cooler had broken off the CPU and slammed into the 5070, breaking both.
Acer wouldn't exchange it, they expected me to re-buy it at an almost 25% premium and just eat the difference.
I shipped the computer back and they've had it for more than a week without issuing a refund. I had to get eBay involved and am still waiting for my money back.
Buyer beware. The price may be good, but Acer has been a disaster on eBay. Very unhappy.
This is a lot of hardware for $1100.
Community Reviews
This Acer Nitro 60 refurb packs Ryzen 9 7900 and RTX 5070 performance into a price that feels unusually strong for about $1100. The hardware is described as a lot of PC for the money, and the certified refurb warranty is appealing when it is listed as two years. Several deliveries matched the listed specs, arrived quickly, and came well packaged, with clean wiring, solid cooling, and quiet operation. The main concern is Acer refurb shipping and support, with reports of crushed boxes, broken parts, and refund hassles, plus some confusion over whether the warranty is 90 days or two years. A tempting value if the refurb process works out.
Common Questions (5)
Shipping can take about a week, and some units arrive well packaged with foam and air padding while others arrive with very little packing and damaged components. The safest expectation is that delivery quality is inconsistent, so inspect the box and hardware immediately on arrival.
The Ryzen 9 7900 and RTX 5070 configuration is considered a lot of hardware for about $1100, and it compares favorably with similarly priced prebuilts like an HP Omen 35L with an RTX 5060 Ti 16GB. For shoppers who want a strong spec-to-price ratio, it looks hard to build a comparable PC for the same money.
It is a certified refurbished unit, and the delivered system can match the listed specs with a Ryzen 9 7900 inside even when the outer label says something else. The practical takeaway is to verify the installed hardware after setup, since the packaging or top label may not reflect the actual configuration.
The warranty is unclear from the listing details: one check suggests 90 days, while the eBay listing shows 2 years. If warranty length matters, confirm it before buying because the posted information does not agree.
The code may not apply to this order, with the checkout message stating, "This code can't be applied to your order." If that happens, the listed price may be the only available checkout price.
