For $7 for 5 pair, this seems like a pretty good blend. More Marino wool will cost a lot more. Seems like a good deal for every day socks, probably reasonably comfortable and will get a decent amount of wear.

65%+ merino wool is what you generally want with merino wool socks, but for the price they might be worth it 🤷

Ah yes, UUMIAER, my favorite brand full of vowels.
What exactly makes these anti-slip?

for short hikes, walks these might be okay. Won't use it for serious strenuous hikes. I like the Costco's Kirkland brand merino wool socks. Not sure if they still make those.

They do, and they're great. They're 65% merino wool. I just bought a bunch during the last sale. They were around $12 per 4-pack if you bought 4 during the one day sale on new years day.

That's good to know. I missed checking out on new years day..but will look out, hopefully season end they will discount them.

I bought these and received them. They seem good for home use. They are providing a good buffer between the cold floor and my foot. I'm a 10.5-11 foot and went with the smaller size that was good for 7-13 and they are good. They go up about 3 inches above my ankle.

I remember reading that merino's bacterial resistance is pretty good at percentages down to 20%.or something and poly tends to be a lot more durable. I read this article many years ago but was always a little disappointed there weren't more blends and that people tended to turn their nose up to anything less than 100% even though I think a blend is a better product. The cotton in the blend is why I won't bite, I am sure it adds softness and comfort but cotton is always generally not good when it comes to insulating properties and moisture. Take all of this with a grain of salt, my knowledge on material blends is pretty limited.
