I have two of these. I bought my first one as a large because that's the size I wear in other helmets, including another model of LS2. It was WAY too small and hurt my head a LOT.
I ordered a second one in XL and it's perfect. Very snug, but not uncomfortable. It feels very secure on my head.
The helmet is DOT and ECE 22.05 certified, so it is perfectly safe for protecting your head.
There's a flap that extends the chin curtain, which is nice for reducing noise, but it's still a noisy helmet. The aerodynamics are amazing. I can turn my head at 80 mph and feel almost nothing. There are two chin ventilation ports, one you access on the outside, and another you access on the inside. There are also two vents on the top. I don't really have a problem with overheating in my helmet, so I can't say too much about this.
There are cutouts for communication headphones, but be careful pulling out the foam! The plastic tabs for the pads are fairly fragile, so you have to be careful how you remove them. I broke a tab off my pad, but it didn't make much of a difference.
The visors are fragile, too. They're expensive and hard to find. They cost more than the helmet! The helmet only comes with a clear visor. Fortunately, LS2's customer service is great. They replied quickly and replaced my first visor for free.
