Just for reference since no one has a time machine (if you do, please, let me know), this was 49.99 during Black Friday.

How does the ceramic compare to their regular non-stick pans in terms of "non-stickiness"?
Is it similar or better or worse?

This looks like a great set for a college kid or newlyweds just starting out.

Its hard to keep up anymore... Is this considered a 'toxic' non-toxic, or a 'non-toxic' toxic coating?

Yes. Get stainless steel/cast iron and keep 1 nonstick pan for eggs.

FWIW, there are people who also claim stainless and especially cast iron are dangerous in their own right. Stainless because of "leeching" and cast iron, if not cared for properly, can lead to all sorts of potential problems. And yes, most people do not care for cast iron well enough.

NOTE: I am not saying which is better, worse, same, or whatever....just the answer isn't as cut and dry as you are making it out to be. Especially if you are not an actually expert in the field...which I am assuming you aren't or you would have mentioned your degree in metallurgy as it relates to food safety.

And wait until you find out that you can fry an egg on cast iron or even on stainless
