Rated an A on SPL's PSU tier list. Hell of a good buy.

I have only used ASRock mobos in the past. No real issues. But people have mentioned ASRock as trash. Any advice? I'm also thinking of purchashing a 9070xt ASRock from microcenter because it's the cheapest version but would it be a reliable purchase?

I've been running this power supply and the ASRock 9070XT for almost a year with no issues.

oh that's reassuring. I run a 5080 atm but thinking I should buy a back up gpu just in case (all the nonsense that's going on) that my wife could use for the time being.

A lot of people have had no issues with their products, but some people inevitably do (no company is perfect) and it's been noted that they will try every trick in the book to refuse warranty. So ultimately, you're rolling the die that you're in the 99%

AFAIK ASRock doesn't make power supplies; these are from contract manufacturers used by all the name brands you have heard of, and 1000 that you haven't. For high end power supplies, always go Gold or better, and only get one with a 10 year warranty.

ASRock motherboards seem fine. I have a few. No problems. Actually, I went back and checked, and I did have to RMA one ASRock board once. Probably half of my builds in the last decade use ASRock just because of the combo of (low) price and (fairly high) quality.
