Couldn't find the CRI of these bulbs. Does anyone know it? Also the pictures show 6W but the listing words say 9W. Which one is it?

Normal for cheap bulbs. 80-89 is suppose to be "good" for general home use.

These Feit CRI90 ; 2700K - 8pk was going for $12 a week ago.

Pretty good for CRI90 I believe. Amazon often waffles back and forth around a sale price. So it might go back soon.
The 5000K version is still at that price.

Sometimes a real slick deal is a comment on another deal. $1 per bulb used to be regular home depot/walmart price but don't know about now. Anyway, this 5000k one has a ss discount for me making it $15.80 making it $0.66 per bulb. Don't forget to cancel it after ordering.

Who actually needs that many at one time? To store it? Give it away as gifts?

If their like the Feit brand, they last less than 6 months.

You'd be surprised if you own a house and wanted to upgrade all light sources at once

2700K is a bit too yellow for me. I don't like the 5000K as they look too white/gray to me. I think 3000K is a nice balance, but they are more difficult to find.
