some of the clothing have the 'WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including Bisphenol A (BPA), Bisphenol S (BPS)… known to cause developmental and reproductive harm… cancer'… the warning only shows on Amazon pages in California. Is Woot not required to show the warnings? doesn't make sense. got some last time, are they spraying the stinky fragrance on the clothing because they were returns? Smells toxic also, makes me sneeze

I used to be a vendor manager at Amazon. Unfortunately most manufacturers select this toggle by default without actually testing their items, because it's not free to test the items. It's really an unintended consequence of a well meaning law.

Clothing seems to be at regular Amazon prices. I think one needs to buy at least $50 worth to even remotely come close to a deal.

Same. We manufacture in China and put the label on anything that might even come close to needing it just to avoid litigation.

The vendor is Amazon, Amazon isn't testing their items? In any case, doesn't make me feel any better about it… Do you know anything about this awful fragrance Amazon seems to be spraying on a lot of things? It really lingers and that's a sign of toxic chemicals. Shouldn't they have to disclose what they're spraying on things in the warehouse?
