Well that sucks. The one I got was "earn $75 rewards when spending $4500 by 2/28"

That's an absurdly crappy promotion. That's a ridiculous amount of money to put on a credit card with low cashback considering I can't use a credit card to pay any of my monthly bills any more.

i got the $70 for $2000 spend, which is roughly 3.5% (if you value best buy rewards at face value, and spend exactly $2000), which isn't bad, honestly..but hard for me to do in a month and a half

These deals are sent by Citi Bank which is the issuer of the card. Best Buy has no say in it.

I've had those multiple times. It means a total aggregate spend of 400 and at least five purchases. So you could make four, $1 purchases, and one, $396 purchase, and it will count as five purchases totaling $400 outside of Best Buy.

Yah, same offer I received, if you can couple it with the quarterly category then it is good.
I have travel selected right now so perhaps... this card doesn't cover car rental stuff though so that sucks.
Otherwise I have everyday 4% gas, 6% grocery, 5% amazon, 4% restaurants, 5% most home improvement, 3% online purchases & the list goes on on other cards.
Last time then sent me spend $4k get $100 = what?
