I believe that this is the lowest price on the refurbished 16GB Scribe, with premium pen, to-date. I bought one about 18 months ago and use the scribe function (note taking) regularly even more than the reader function. I use it for both work and personal. One of the valuable functions is the ability to send PDFs from a PC to the Scribe wirelessly. The PDF can then be annotated by the Scribe. These are built well, and I recommend. There is a newer version, but the extra cost is hard to justify IMO.
