I bought one of these about six months ago the joint where the plastic head meets the wood is not sealed water gets in there and quickly rotted out the notched out piece of wood, and it breaks. I was able to make a new piece of wood on my lathe and hot glue and sealed it into the plastic. I used black locust it shouldn't rot.
