Thanks, I buy a few every time these cheap scratching posts come up. I have a kitten rescue and these are disposable after using with litters of ringworm or sick kittens.

My small kittens are able to knock this over in seconds, creating a possible hazard that could hurt them as it falls.

If small kittens are able to knock this over, it means its super light weight. That's minimal injury risk.

Except the wood at the top can be very sharp and hard. If it hit them in the head, it could do some damage.

Maybe go to Home Depot, pick up a free laminate floor sample, screw it into the base. No more tippy over.
