I would assume it would act the same way as any enclosed SSD connected through a USB hub.

Can't see much interest in this thing. Two USB 2.0 ports? In 2026? It has wired ethernet but it's pretty much a so-what IMO. Also, PD 100Ws leading to 85Ws is getting pretty anemic IMO.... YMMV.

You may be better off getting the one with SD/TF slots, 2x USB 3.2 ports, and the rest if pretty much the same.

SD parasite free Link .... (put it together by removing spaces) and you can see everything they have....

Solution for a problem no one has... who actually wants a cheap M.2 enclosure built into a hub? What is the actual benefit over a Hub with separate M.2 enclosure?

Doesn't this feel like an overkill? Also, given it's a 10GBps connection - that would be somewhat limiting, especially when shared with the SSD (which would have a bottleneck of 1Gbyte/sec - for comparison gen3 easily hits 3-4Gb/s, and now we're onto gen5).

My use case for stuff like this is often more as a docking station. The 2.0 ports are fine for keyboard and mouse. And Ethernet is very desirable for that use - I really hate that it's not more common on these units.

Absolutely agreed on the power, though. We need to see these being built to push a lot more wattage through these dates.

Almost correct. Yes it will be recognized, but once you transfer big file, this drive is slow as floppy drive. It looks good on spec and decent reading speed, but they hide the actual transfer speed. GL

I think people would like something this if they needed. What if they had a small sized chrome book ? What if people were able to connect online for some reason but all of their docs were mirrored on it from one drive or something so they could still.work and then it would automatically sync to one drive or whatever when they were able to get back on the Internet. And yes I know you can do this without this device..but what is so bad about having one device instead of 3?
