Good deal if you need 11 channels, all in one unit.
FYI this might drop as we get closer to next year when their new units come out.
The new units are said to add access to Dirac's new RC ART.
You will have to wait for the new models coming out at the end of the year for that.
FYI this is still up, use the coupon code JHCE9834 during checkout.

Also Denon 6800 and Yamaha A8A are still above $2000-$2300 range, should I buy Onkyo rz70 or wait for Denon or Yamaha ?
Depends on features you need imo.
If you have no brand preference, here is my take.
The 6800 only makes sense if you need 13 channel processing.
The 6800 cost more because it offers quite a bit more.
If Dirac is a high priority, Yamaha is out.
This makes sense if you need 11 channels, all in one unit.
2 channel music, edge does go to RZ70.
For anything else there really is no real audible advantage.
Power difference, as you mentioned isn't anything to write home about.
If it was, easy fix with preouts.
If you don't need more than 9 channels, at $750 the RZ30 is easily the best buy ime.

The power difference between those latter units, I mentioned, and the RZ50 is a world of difference apart
4 ohm loads played at reference levels are not an issue for the them
Additionally, according to Audioholics reviews, the RZ70 is the best AVR under $3500
So this is a smoking deal , IMO, if you want a 1 box solution and you prefer Dirac, which I highly prefer
The RZ50 is no slouch though, especially in a small.mid size room with efficient speakers and lower listening levels. In fact I had it and the Denon X4800 in my home at the same time and I could not see the value $$ in the Denon for the difference and extra $$ it would take me to buy Dirac
Owners seem to really like the RZ70 and I would suggest reading tip/tricks from actual owners who have had this unit since it was released
