If this is the unit you've been waiting for, this is probably the time to get it.
It could also be that the new replacement is coming out by the end of this year.

The new models look promising (but we don't know pricing yet) and I wanted to upgrade but didnt want to wait a year..
Yea latest speculation is end of this year now but that can easily change again.
I get the big thing is ART, TBH you should have the equipment 1st to make it worthwhile ime.
Especially since MSRP will likely not be cheap then you have to purchase Bass Control AND ART which is another $600!

I owned this AVR, at one time, for about 18 months
I paid less than this and sold it for what I paid for it...
But at this price, for what it can do out of the box it is a still a solid deal at this price
In the context of what I see of product range( and popularity) on slick deals , IMO this unit should check all the boxes
Believe the Pioneer is cheapest of the lot.
Comes down to feature priorities.
Denon & Marantz has the most but the most expensive(no surprise), especially Marantz.
The Pioneer has the least but least expensive.
If you don't need 11 channels, I would add the RZ30 into the mix.Especially at the sale price of $750!
Here is a comparison.
