Includes two SFP ports. Wonder what the max speed they support on SFP ports and what the max bandwidth the switch can process on the backplane?

On normal hardware, I'd always assume SFP is 1Gbps and SFP+ is 10Gbps.

Funny how Amazon shuffles the pictures and shows POE, this version is not POE

This will most certainly be controversial because American made companies are not always the cheapest, and this is slickdeals, but I will not be running TP-Link in my network stack anymore. Would rather have American made tech than Chinese. That being said, if you do not care what country it's made in, on paper this would be an awesome switch for any home network, much less a small business.
I'd rather have American made tech as well but even many American tech companies have items produced elsewhere. Many Cisco switch models are made in China. Cisco operates manufacturing facilities worldwide, including significant operations in China, Mexico, and Brazil.

Which American made smart switch do you recommend?

Small home networking is fine w/o management. If you have a home lab, some manageability is desirable to 1) reduce broadcast domain, less noises 2) some security with subset of ports with VLANs, 3) some tool like LLDP to assist troubleshooting on device connectivity, 4) more advanced port mirroring etc.

NETGEAR probably, although they're not fully American built. There are companies like WideBand Corporation, Net Optics, and Comnet that are fully American built but I've never used them
