If you have PS+ Premium, then you can stream the catalog w/o the PS5. Its been great for traveling and worth the reg. price for me.

It can be done remotely, but you will need to setup some network settings, plus lag is a thing

I just tried it because it was $149 at my local Sam's Club, and the Best Buy like half a mile away rejected it saying the discount is only for Sam's Club members, and it would be the same price otherwise. 🤷

Pick one up for 119.91 today at my local Sam's Club in Michigan , I've seen it for as low as $75 but they can never find the unit or it's out of stock
