They're work shoes. Good for wait staff who may be required to wear black shoes and are on their feet all day long.

I bought these and I'm not a fan. They get the job done, but they are not that comfortable if you're doing 4+ hours of walking. If you can find the similar looking ones that are relaxed fit, memory foam (they are blue-ish on the inside instead of red - those ones rock.

I just received mine and I agree. The sole is very hard such that the shoe doesn't bend much when you step, so the shoe kind of slips off slightly because the sole doesn't bend. In addition, the hard sole is not comfortable. I'll be returning.

I have bought a few different versions of these from Skechers including the memory foam one and never saw this uncomfortable rigid behavior before.

No wonder they are so cheap.
