How is this in comparison to TCL q750g (2023) It's seems like a crazy decent deal if it's the same level. If you control lighting my TV is a really high quality cinema like experience.

I would wait for a sale on the QM6K, although google AI seems to think the q750g is better for some uses. Yes, it will cost more but you will get a big step up from this one, including 144Hz refresh rate as opposed to 60. Watch some youtubes about both models. This one is about as cheap as you're going to find a mini-led set though, so if this is near the limit of your budget, this is probably a good deal.

I got in on the paypal Pay in 4 promo around Black Friday. It enabled me to get 20% back on any purchase made with paypal, so I used it on a 65" QM7K that was on sale for $800, so I essentially got the TV for $640, a great deal. The promo is probably over, but check your paypal to see if you still have it or another offer.

A Rtings comparison makes the 750g look better https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/c...972/100489
I bought the 50 inch qm5k for $280 at black Friday and I'm content with it. It's my first miniled and my first TV that wasn't completely budget. I'm a pixel peeper and a constant settings tweaker since I got it. While there's more to be desired, I don't see how I could have done better for the price.

Considering going for this; Would you go this route or go for one of the used models below?

2021 Hisense U7G $300 Used -> https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/hisense/u7g
2017 LG oled55c7p $200 Used->https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/c7-oled

Used oled has burn for sure. I'd just get something new like this that has a warranty.
Costco has the QM6K Pro which is similar with the extended warranty.

I have the lowest end 50 inch model and I am completely blown away at the deep blacks that this tv produces. It's close to oled but not quite there. Considering that I have the lowest end model it is amazing but the complain I do have is the motion on the tv. It looks very janky on some fast moving scenes. I don't know if it has something to do with the lower end models having a lower refresh rate though but for your average tv viewer, this will more than suffice 👍

Debating between QM5K and QM6K for a bedroom TV at this size (55") to replace my ancient 57" DLP, which I hardly ever use. My main TV in the living room is a 65" LG OLED, so I know my eyes are spoiled a bit.

I haven't seen the QM5K. I haven't watched an OLED TV for a long period of time and don't own one, but the QM6K is my main TV for the house and it looks spectacular. Very deep blacks that look like OLED to me.

I have the QM6K and I love it. For the price if you get it on sale like I did its awesome. Especially for the 144 hz. Games and movies look incredible in 4k.

Thank you for that info, I've been debating between the 2 and think I'll hold out for a QM6K superbowl sale. We're re-doing our sons playroom and turning into a kids-cave. I'd like something that will help the Xbox x shine. I have access to the Costco pro version as well, any opinion on that? I know the screen is supposed to be different, not sure if it's necessary better or not.

This TV is incredible for the money. It seeeeems to have the same number of dimming zones as the QM6K on top of being a touch brighter.; overseas, its modeled as a QM6K variant (ie the C6KS.) The built-in sound is also surprisingly loud/good. If you don't need 4K past 60, its a great buy.

I bought two of the 50" models and one of the 55" to replace some old cheap 4K TVs. Looking to replace one more TV (a cheap 75") and curious to see how the pricing of these (the 85" QM5K, 85" QM6K, and the 98" QM6K) changes in the next day or so.
