Great as a UPS for things like your internet connection as it will have a relatively long run time for Wi-Fi/ modems as well as having enough power for other things such as recharging cell phones, etc.
Does not support communication to a computer so it can't tell a computer to shut down gracefully but for devices, such as modems/routers/appliances where graceful shutdown isn't necessary for proper functionality, this would be a good unit as it also supports the restoration of the last state.. So if it's fully drained, once AC power is applied, it will restore whatever outputs were set in the advanced settings.

I have several Bluetti units that I use for various purposes from an ac180p, all the way up to an apex 300 with with 8.5 kwh of battery then I run part of my house off of with about 2.5 KW of solar.

The AC50B is $189 if you need a unit with more; and with the 2yr Allstate warranty.

Remember, these units don't have surge protection like traditional UPS. Add surge protector before it.

Have one. Not a bad unit, better than a lead acid UPS where the battery dies in 2-3 years. It'll boil a kettle 2-4 times, so don't expect much.

Trying to get smart about these power stations. Would this one be a good choice for weekend camping trips?

Short answer, maybe. Long answer, maybe. It really comes down to what are you needing power for. If you're running a fridge, charging drones, gopro cameras, etc etc, you will want a power station with larger capacity. If all you need is keeping phones, gps, tablets topped off, smaller may fit better. Then you will want to figure what space you have to take the unit with. Do you have the space for the larger unit or is space a premium where the smaller physical unit may fit better. Also are your trips where you can toss up solar and charge the power station OR are you say out 4wheeling where you are running the car and charge the unit as you wheeling. For $121 bucks, THIS one is not a bad price for unit with LiFePo battery vs the older lead acid.

I went with the one you quoted from me as I wanted a little larger unit. But I also have a smaller older Jackery that is still working well, just smaller unit.
