Saw this thread, did some research, ended up with a Bluetti Elite 100v2 and the ZOUPW 200w foldable solar panel kit, after tax it was $598.22.
Bluetti has higher running watts, higher peak watts, has XT60 connector and an MC4-to-XT60 adapter so better support for aftermarket solar panels, reports of their inverters being higher efficiency than other brands, etc. Seems the only thing the Jackery has over it is the battery rating, slightly higher Wh.
There is also a video on YT showing how to easily add a port to the Bluetti to plug in additional battery(ies) for more capacity.
I'm trying to figure out where my entry point into this is. Ultimately I'll build out my own setup eventually, but priorities were elsewhere. Make sense to go with the Bluetti?
Also, is there anything to what the other guy was saying about the 200w panels?
I'll be doing my own research, so you don't NEED to supply this, but I find your approach jives with my sensibilities.
I'm pretty happy with the Costco Jackery 600 deal with 200 watt solar panel for $300 that I bought awhile back... wondering if I should get a larger unit and more solar panels given the supposedly severe upcoming winter storm that's going to hit Oklahoma, Texas, and other southern states... maybe Texas will be able to keep the power on this time.
I could be wrong but Costco typically carries the 1000 plus vs the v2 listed here. I bought my jackery from costco about 1.5 years ago and it was the 1000 plus

Yes, not a direct comparison. This is the v2 with two 100W solar panels for $200 less. Costco has the 1000 Plus with one 100W panel for $800. The v2 is lighter while the Plus is expandable with more output.
