I have bad dry eyes. My optometrist told me that your tear ducts get clogged with dirty oils to the point where they don't tear enough. So you you have to put a warm compress on your eyes for 10 minutes and it helps to massage them a bit. This liquifies the oils and let's them clear out out of the clogged tear ducts. Then you use eyelid wipes to clean all that crap out. You have keep doing this a few times a week and it works. So this devices does the heat and massaging for you. Lubricating drops help but won't be enough for a lot of people.

I have this thing. Different brand I'm sure it's identical. I paid double and I like it. It's pretty relaxing. I have dry eye condition so I use this to warm my eyes before using the eyelid wipes.

How does this compare to the Therabody Smart Goggles (which are 2-3x the price)?

I tried ordering this by paying with my FSA card. Wal-mart says the item isn't eligible for FSA payment despite saying it is the product description.

I bought a similar item several years ago (micro USB, no heat or sound/Bluetooth) based on a SD FP deal for around the same price. It's a "go to" for decompressing when I'm wound up or stressed out. Battery is on its last legs, though, so this is a timely deal. Thanks OP!

Be careful. I was going to get something similar as a gift for my mother but saw a warning in the description that said :"This product is not suitable for individuals who have undergone eye operations, have retina conditions, cataracts, glaucoma, etc."
