This deal is front page worthy, but the title needs to be adjusted to something like "Ninja Slush Max + $100 Costco Shop Card = $349.99 + Tax."

For those wondering about the major differences between the MAX and the original versions...
  • The MAX has a larger mixing tank / capacity but a slightly higher minimum fill requirement.
  • The MAX takes up slightly more counter space.
  • MOST IMPORTATNLY - The MAX has TWICE the chilling / freezing ability for mixtures that require colder temperatures like adult beverages.
Regardless of Ninja's specs / claims - The original models were proven incapable of freezing mixes above 10 - 11% ABV. (See linked videos below.)

The MAX have been proven to freeze mixes slightly above 20% ABV.

From personal experience, the ABV sweet spot for most adult frozen drinks is 15% - 18% ABV. The MAX will handle these ABVs easily by setting the chill / temperature knob to between ~60 and 75%. Or start with the slush assist setting and turn up or down one level as needed.

Due to the extra / colder chill capability - This model can slush/freeze regular drink mixes a bit quicker than the original models. But time to freeze for a regular slushie drink has never been an issue on any of these machines.

The minimum fill requirement for the MAX is a little a higher than the originals at 24oz. For comparison - Big Gulps sizes start at 32oz and run typically run up to up to 50 - 64oz. A regular size restaurant style Margarita glass holds ~12oz with a large starting at ~20oz. The minimum fill requirement hasn't been an issue for me making drinks for as few as one to two people as any left overs go into the freezer.

Here are some great review and comparison videos:
