Is this better than the squeeze type?

Just a heads up, OXO makes a 2-1 version of this that includes a wider squeezer that stacks. The wider one is technically for oranges, but I found it to work better for bigger lemons like Meyer lemons. This one is fine if all you do is normal lemons, but I think the 2 in 1 version will give you a lot more versatility while taking up the same amount of storage space.

yes but this Oxo model and the other two lid Oxo's plastic container is poor quality and the lid doesnt stay attached. I had the bigger one but if you read the small one's reviews you will see the lid not staying attached is commonly mentioned. The best type of these you can get are the glass ones (often part of a glass bowl set) vintage from eBay or Etsy just make sure it's from a reputable glass company or more recently produced to avoid lead in the glass, here is an example (https://www.etsy.com/listing/4440...360368b960)

It depends on what you're after. I like making lemonades from the lemon tree in our yard and this is much better for that since it catches all the seeds and pithe, while also having a measuring cup for me to get a sense of how much juice I got. If you're just need to squeeze half a lemon to drizzle over a dish or something, the squeeze type is easier and involves a bit less cleanup.

Not recommended by America's Test Kitchen. Too lightweight and the pulp plugs the strainer if juicing a lot of fruit.

Using a press juicer is better for taste in my opinion since it squeezes out the essentials citrus oils from the skin.

The best part of the video is where he talks about the "super familiar" hand held reamer, lol. 😂

I own this, it absolutely sucks. The yellow part doesn't "lock in" well to the bottom collection cup. Too many other options out there to want this thing
