For example, I have a freezer chest that I keep stocked with steaks and chicken, bacon, fish, ground beef, berries, etc. I'm 100% positive I have saved at least $500 filling that by buying my bulk at Costco. Additionally, I worry about inflation less because I get 10 steaks at a time, for example.

WRONG! Gas is literally $0.60 cheaper at Costco compared to other places around me. 5% cash back on gas and 4% on everything else with the Costco Visa and Executive Membership. Contact lenses are hundreds of dollars cheaper for a yearly supply. Costco sells more than groceries, ya know?

What membership fee? I have executive membership and they end up giving me a rebate that is more than the membership fee. So effectively they are paying me to shop there.
