VA panel is trash for gaming.

Most of the time Bad input latency and ghosting with black's smearing. No point of having 144hz if they come with these problems.

OLED is the preferable, but expensive so most people go for a IPS.

This is a little small to have a curved display, I think it works best on 32" or bigger. Probably worth waiting for a sale on that model since IPS at this size and tier is generally better.

I owned a similar sized curved Acer monitor, now I use an LG similar to the 32 inch model that Samsung makes. If you think about it, 1000R (tighter curve) is more noticeable on smaller displays because the area to curve is less.

It's not like you can't get used to it, its just harder to and 32 inch QHD curved (VA) monitors have been on sale for not much more than this. Same with IPS at this size. Of course they have worse pixel density but the bigger screen is very immersive. This is of course just opinion, but imo it doesn't offer any benefits over competing monitors. No size (like 32) or response time (like IPS).

You want to talk about getting used to something? I have this same monitor stacked on top of a 49-in curved ultrawide now there's something that needs getting used to.

Be careful with the Company! I orders two LG monitors last two weeks & received it last week. Both monitors were dead out of the box. I had to fight with them & ended up getting a return label to send both back. Just today I sent back the two monitors via FedEx.
