Eneloops are the best in terms of longevity. I have a pair that I've been using for years, while my friends keep having to buy new energizer rechargeables.

Ordered these earlier this week for a few dollars more. I've got an 8 pack of AA that I've had at least 10 years. They really do hold up. Just FYI they aren't fully charged when they come. I put them on my Panasonic charger which has a display indicating battery level. They all charged for more than an hour.

All my eneloops are not good anymore...dont hold charge - thought it was the charger so bought an off brand and still was no good on my nose trimmer only lasted a day with power. They were good for years though.

Will they power common IoT devices, mice, keyboards, etc., w/o an issue? I vaguely recall something that their voltage often falls a tad short of what is required by the device.

So got them last time the deal was around. Have to say they have been doing great in the kids toys. Lasting longer than I expected.

All NiMH rechargeable (regardless of brand) runs from 1.4 to 1.2V (as they discharge). This is usually not a problem for slow drain devices like mice/keyboards. You may get a 'low battery' warning sooner though.

I've heard pretty good things about EBL rechargeables. Wirecutter rated them best.
