Serious question. What would one need 72 C-cell batteries for?

I was going to comment on that in the OP, but with a "guaranteed 10 years in storage", I felt it was possible to use at least 7 C batteries per year, if you need them.
According to Google AI, in addition to children's toys, C batteries are often used in flashlights and some medical devices.

even with a "guaranteed 10 years in storage", i see endless complaints about these batteries leaking within a year or 2, when stored properly and they were purchased from regular stores ie costco, home depot.
buy only what you need.

why not throw a 15/75 on your purchase?

I see your point about not stocking up on 72 C batteries for years, but I'm sure there's someone out there who needs to regularly purchase C batteries so this deal should help them.

Unless 15/75 coupons are easily available to the public, I didn't think it would be worth mentioning.
