This is not bad considering the current market, but be advised that this is QLC and Endurance (TBW) is listed as 250units.

Community Reviews

The WD Green SN3000 2TB is a budget NVMe aimed at basic gaming and everyday storage, with advertised speeds up to 5,000 MB per second and a 3 year limited warranty. The low price around $108 to $109 makes it attractive versus pricier Gen 4 drives, and burst tasks like Windows loads and game launches should feel fine. The main concerns are its QLC design, 250 TBW endurance, and reports of slow sustained transfers once the cache fills. Reliability and order handling also drew complaints, including premature failures, cancellations, and unexpected charges.

How is this as a game drive? Already got a SN850X as my OS drive just need another before the prices go up. Was gonna get a second SN850X as a game drive but this would save me some bucks.

According to AI, these WD Green drives are exceedingly slow. Supposedly they're around 50-150Mbps transfer speed, which rivals my 26TB external mechanical hard drive. Supposedly my old PCIe gen 3 with QLC is faster than this by a factor of 4 and closer to SATA saturation point.

Trash drive. Don't waste your money. Plenty of reports of these dieing prematurely. Good luck if this is your main drive.

Slow as shit compared to gen 3-4 not to mention 5. Better to go ssd than nvme at that point.
