Great deal. Fine print shows it includes the $10 credit for state filing like Costco. I purchased, so now I can go to bed, and I don't have to wait for Costco or Amazon to wake-up.

If you're locked "Intuit" (see what I/they did there?), then pay the piper, but other safe, easy (and even more free direct file) alternatives to TurboTax exist. Maybe saving $30 isn't worth it to you to have to type things in fresh for one year, inertia in a chaotic world is a barrier for sure. Just remember Intuit has repeatedly and exhaustively lobbied to keep the government from removing their past near-monopoly by trying to prevent the IRS from releasing effective, free direct file online.
I recommend freetaxusa.com, been using it for 10+ years. Free federal, state is ~$15. If you want deluxe everything you might pay 30-$40 for unlimited corrections/re-filings/etc.

Most other apps will let you load last years taxes to get started.

Amazon has the same deal on deluxe + state: $45 includes 5 federal e-file, and a $10 gift card.
