These Singer machines are absolute JUNK. Singer was sold and they are noting like they use to be. I got my wife one of these Singer heavy Duty's for Christmas and her sewing teacher showed her everything that was sub par with it and the reasons to return it. (Which we did). BTW I got this as a last unit for $90 and even at that price was not worth keeping. It's a giant piece of 💩. Do yourself a favor and buy a Brother etc..
