Looks like a space ship from Star Wars.

I got this and while the wifi7 speeds and signal strength were good in my 1500 sqft apartment; the 2.4GHz band kept crashing multiple times a day causing all my smarthome devices to stop. Nothing short of a full power recycle would restore 2.4G connectivity. Maybe I got a dud, but wanted to share my experience.

The posted deal is for a Wifi 6 router not Wifi 7.

Anyone know the end of life for this model? Usually when the price is cut, it's because it's either no longer receiving updates or close to it.

Nobody should be putting more than $50 into a 5GHz access point since 2-5GHz is a mess of interference. Look for a deal on an access point with a 6GHz radio - either a great deal on a WiFi 6E device (~$100) or a WiFi 7 device (~$250).

Without a 6GHz radio you will get lag spikes from your neighbor's baby cam and your roommate's wireless mouse. And from the thousand other 5GHz WiFi networks in range (if you live in an apartment).

Any suggestions?
