Every photo either lacks a desk or shows terrible desk posture. This doesn't seem very practical. Not sure how this would even fit. With my feet on the floor, I only have about 3 inches of clearance before my knee would hit my desk. Seems like something to buy, use once, then never again when you realize how impractical it is.

That said, perhaps somebody with actual experience can chime in and help me understand?

Since the new year started, I have been looking into these exercise machines. They are all more or less the same; however, these produced by Chinese companies seem to offer better functionality than the expensive ones made by Deskcycle or Cubii, etc. These are primarily aimed at keeping legs moving to increase blood circulation rather than getting a workout.
I ended up buying a Deskcycle 2 on FB Marketplace for $20. If I come across a good deal for this Elliptical, I may still buy one. The Merach E32, E37 (looks same as Viamotion) line seems to have more online presence and is selling in multiple countries. You can also order from AliExpress. Merach E37 was $66 on Aliexpress, Merach E32 White was $69 on Walmart.

Calling this an "elliptical" is laughable. It's just a stepper.

I appreciate the insight. I'm clearly very ignorant about these devices. I'd love the idea of healthier desk work, but am incredibly skeptical. Better blood circulation is a noteworthy goal as I get older. Can you comment on clearance under a desk? I still am incredibly skeptical of how practical these things are.

Yes, elliptical movement reduces the height legs move. Though wheeled chairs are a problem, which tend to move away from the machine. Walmart has a generous return policy. If you don't like it, you can always return it.

If you are thinking you are going to burn calories with this thing, you are going to be disappointed. This is a totally useless marketing gimmick. Litttle to no effort equates to little to no results. If you want to move while working, buy a standing desk and a walking pad.

Or a bike desk, during COVID, I got one and did about 12-13 miles on it while working.
