Can't go wrong with Anker lately. They seem to be able to put out a decent product no matter what it is. If I hadn't snatched such an insane deal on an Oupes Mega, this is the one I would've gotten

Hello I am writing from the future where CATL is providing sodium cells at $20/kwh

This dollar cost averaging I've been doing with batteries has been a fail. However I don't need my generator going camping anymore

I think the best bet is to just get enough battery for now and bank on prices to go down in the future. Similar to how I've been buying ram and hard drives over the last 30 years (well until recently ... )

I was looking at the Oupes Exodus 2400 and comparing it with this Anker F1500, but something doesn't make sense with the Oupes.

The Oupes claims to have 2232Wh of battery capacity and the Anker is advertised to have 1536Wh. So about a 700Wh difference. Yet, they weigh about the same (Anker: 43.7 lbs, Oupes: 45.2 lbs). Most of the weight should be from the LifePO4 batteries. How can the Oupes have almost 50% more battery capacity, but weigh about the same as the Anker?
