So, whether they had that good of warranty or because they had a corporate contract I never found out, maybe some owner of their tools could chime in and tell us why we should pay more for Milwaukee/?

If you're a homeowner, just buy Ryobi, Ridgid, or Kobalt.

Or Bauer. Great prices and a wide ecosystem. I love being able to just go to the store and get my tool swapped whenever there's an issue in warranty. My issue with Bauer is that they don't have a few of them more niche items that I need so I can't fully commit to their line. Like a track saw and finish and framing nailers.
