Have seen others in love with their tools, but they are over my budget for something used on occasion for me. When I have used others Milwaukee branded tools I never noticed anything special other than the name, similar battery life n power, perhaps their warranty is where they shine? I do not know as never looked into why they were higher priced than others. Sort of like when the Snapon truck showed up and people went in debt buying their tools because of the name and I went into the Mac truck and got twice the tools that seemed to last just as long, is this the same with Milwaukee?
Now if it came with top hat n monocle, I might be enticed. I did inherit a corded 1/2" impact from them that worked great for 10 years, then the switch broke, a friend saw it broken, whom it came from, n said he could get new tool for it, he may have, never brought it over, likely kept if he had. So, whether they had that good of warranty or because they had a corporate contract I never found out, maybe some owner of their tools could chime in and tell us why we should pay more for Milwaukee/?

If you're a homeowner, just buy Ryobi, Ridgid, or Kobalt.

Or Bauer. Great prices and a wide ecosystem. I love being able to just go to the store and get my tool swapped whenever there's an issue in warranty. My issue with Bauer is that they don't have a few of them more niche items that I need so I can't fully commit to their line. Like a track saw and finish and framing nailers.
