Hmm... as with a few other Blu-rays recently (e.g. It Lives Inside @ $5.99) I cannot order in California: "This item cannot be shipped to your selected delivery location. Please choose a different delivery location."

Do you know why that is?
I get it when it's an ozone generator or gas powered motor but movies? Seems so strange.

AFAIK, there's no easy way to tell why something can't be shipped to a location.
But it gets a little weirder.
With Weird Science, I switched to Deliver to Canada and shipping to that location was OK. I switched back to my California address... and shipping to my location is OK now! This sounds like some sort of website glitch.
But the same trick (switching delivery locations away from Cal and then back) did not work with It Lives Inside -- still unable to ship to my location.
I don't understand at all! Especially since both movies say Shipper/Seller is Amazon.com.
BTW, I have never seen this prohibited shipping message before. Ofc, I don't tend to buy exotic things from Amazon, so that's not surprising.
