Thanks! Not quite as good a deal as previously, but I missed those ones so I snagged a "Open Box - Excellent" one as a replacement for my Google Pixelbook which finally died after like 10 years.

Edit: and my order was cancelled. awesome...

Try in-store pickup with a model available in a store near you rather than shipped. I have several Best Buys within 100 miles of me (Illinois) that have Good and Excellent models available. There are some fair models, but they're all in Chicagoland.

Got this laptop when it was posted in earlier deal which was about $20 cheaper. It was a good condition open box, the laptop showed it was originally powered up just a single day in December 2025 and basically looked new, the adapter wasn't even unwrapped.
As for the machine, its got a nice build quality and the screen is fantastic compared to my old 3 year old Dell that had a 250 NITs screen and horrible viewing angles. Only negative is RAM isn't upgradable but 16GB should suffice for daily use and can use my MBP for photo editing.

Isn't Lenovo yoga prone to display issues especially with the foldable models

My problem with most AMD consumer laptops is basically the cheapening out by the OEMs. Lenovo is the most egregious followed by Dell by not providing USB4 ports and limiting USB-A ports to 3.1. While the competing Intel systems will have atleast 1 Thunderbolt 4 port.
The screen seems to be pretty decent for the price.....

We're spoiled by modern PC specs. My first laptop was a Gateway MT3705 in 2006. I was wowed that it had a whopping 1GB RAM and Windows Vista. It also had an Intel Core Duo CPU a 4200RPM hard drive, and maybe 2 hours of battery if you were lucky. All for $630 (about $1000 today).

How is the build quality on these? I had two bargain Lenovos literally fall apart at the hinges years ago and swore them off, but I have no experience with this line.

You were spoiled by 2006 PC specs too if you compared them to PCs from 1996.

I bought this last deal. Impressed with screen quality. I've done some light gaming on it, LOL, AOE, etc. handles it fine just dies very fast and gets hot. For basic web browsing/editing it would be perfect
