Even the common 8oz bag is $3.50 at Walmart, which is $0.43/oz. That's why these deals posted by Staff always suck, and you have to do your own research to see is it's actually a good deal or not. Slickdeals is just looking out for themselves, trying to make a commission.

Not to mention the simple fact that you are buying $18 dollars worth of chips, and the storage space required to put them somewhere. 1) not even a good deal, and 2) purchasing a ridiculous amount of chips, I would never think to do at the grocery store.

Miss Vickie's sea salt & vinegar chips are one of my favorites. Much tastier and better crunch than other ones. They are also consistently in my experience made only a couple months before shipping and post a shorter shelf life although I haven't had trouble keeping it for a year. Probably it's just them trying to ensure max flavor/freshness.
If you subscribe to the belief that all chips taste the same, sure this isn't a deal for you.
