I use these type of batteries daily and haven't had much luck with anything other than Canon. They last for a few charges but then start self-draining and throwing error codes within the camera. I love my Manfrotto tripod and even use their double-charger but these are a discount battery comparatively.

Good to know. While i have personally avoided 3rd party batteries. Out of fear of electrical issues, Many say that 3rd party is the way to go. So much cheaper. more then half the price of OG Battery.

As a 25 year professional photographer with cameras that cost over $5,000, I would never use third party batteries. I need to be ready at events and cannot afford failure. I tried third party batteries 20 years ago for a high school graduation and when I my Canon battery ran out of juice, I put my fully charged third party battery in the camera and it lasted for 3 minutes and I missed the last part of the graduation. If you have an inexpensive camera and take pictures for fun, then third party batteries might be for you. You can easily replace your camera.
I love my Manfrotto tripods!

100% agree, Well said.
I think same goes for SD Cards, Tripods.... When you do it as a job, no room for failure.
