Do you know if this turns on in FT and regular measure, instead of Area, or Volume? I have a no brand chinesium one, and every single time, changing the units and the mode made it just sit in the drawer. I just use a tape measure.

Price is good but idk how to like these cheap products, they're bulky, not simple/quick enough to use the functions, and most importantly laser is usually not visible enough in bright environments
