It's the same thing as the regular Anker 45W nano charger. Just added an extra wattage meter screen. Not worth the price bump

The upwards facing port is tempting, perfect for behind the couch. Tired of buying 90° angled USB C cords for my sons tablet

wait for the v2.0 with ai included
that's 3.0, the 2.0 version is where they'll add wifi. (which they actually have added to several of their products already...)

I've had nothing but good experiences with Anker products, so I'm pretty tempted on this one.
I'm really interested in this "TÜV certification" too. I'll have to read up on it, but I'm guessing it's kinda like being UL certified? As long as someone reputable is taking a look at these products to verify they're built properly, I'll gladly pay a couple of extra dollars.

Cannot have screen stay on all the time. Limit is 12 hours. I still prefer my sharge pixels which stay on all the time, but of course are much larger and more expensive.

If they're like me... All of them. I leave them in every room. Highest use spots get upgraded and the other rooms get hand-me-downs. But it drives me nuts when the "good" charger gets left in the last place it was used or in a travel bag or whatever so I leave one in all those spots.
If you really want to upgrade your home, replace the outlets themselves with usb-c built in. Best subtle thing I did in my house.

Have you looked into something like this? I've got a few of these around. I haven't purchased the flat ones like this one yet, but now that I realize they exist... But the ones I have are fairly flat anyway. They're just not quite this thin.

Definitely a good alternative. I think the price it worth the charger for the simplicity and cleaner look. Ive bought a million anker products from cables, chargers, a battery packs. Never had an issue except with cables, usually wear and tear and they have great customer service. And there was one recall on a specific battery pack and they took care of that for me.

Appreciate it though

I went ahead and ordered it. The standard 45W charger without the screen is currently $34.99, so for a few bucks less it will have a screen , and a little extra bonus of the prongs have more rotation.

I got used to having a display on one of my power banks. Really helpful in seeing how much time left the power banks has and what wattage its outputting. Always wanted it on a charger to see what the wattage is since not all devices have the same wattage, a good way of knowing if a cable isnt working as advertised or if its just an old cable with outdated limitations .

Just a side note, I've owned a lot on Anker products and none of them failed. Even the recalled stuff worked fine.
Crazy, I keep buying Anker charging cables (usb c) and they all fail after 6-12 months. Completely stop working. Two different houses and many different Anker wall adapters, so it's not the plugs or adapters. I keep buying them because they are cheap enough to be "throw away" though, and they get a lot of use. Wall adapters have been a little better getting around 2 years of use because they mysteriously stop working. Official Apple adapters on the other hand have lasted me 5+ years with no issues. I'm not an Anker hate by any means, but I only buy their products on deep discounts.

I had a charger fail, ONE. Like 3 years old, they replaced it no questions asked. Love the company.

That's something I foolishly never thought about. Any idea how long the included warranty is?

Edit: from a quick search it looks like most are 18 months. Thanks for the suggestion!
